I love Brothers fruit crisps but the potatoe "chip" variety are horrifying. Don't get me wrong, I love potatoes, but there is something unsettling about the taste of a freeze dried potatoe. Like the apples, when they rehydrate in your mouth they regain the consistancy of the original product.. think chewy mash potatoes with a slight off taste.
I'll continue to buy brothers fruit crisps (the apple are amazing) but never again will I make the mistake of purchasing these. I couldn't even give them away, I tried twice and both times they came back to me. The remainder of my box now lies at the dump were it belongs.
